Celebrating Rabbi Ammi Hirsch

Rabbi Ammi Hirsch joined the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in 2004. He lived in Israel throughout his high school years and received his rabbinical ordination from Hebrew Union College in New York in 1989. He has since been a leader in the Reform movement in both Israel and the United States. He has received numerous recognitions for his efforts by outlets like the Jerusalem Post. He has also served on many boards, including A Partnership of Faith, the World Zionist Organization, and the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He’s also the author of “The Lilac Tree” and “One People, Two Worlds.”

A Partnership of Faith is pleased to celebrate our longstanding member, Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch, for 20 years of leading the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue. Our co-chairs have taken a moment to reflect on his accomplishments, dedication, and the impact he has had on his community and colleagues. Their statement is shown below.
